Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you buy a guide from Steady Paws. They are written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, write to me and I'll explain it in plain words.
Who you are buying from
Steady Paws publishes gentle, force-free guides for owners of reactive dogs. You can reach me any time at nora@steadypawsco.com. I answer my own email.
What you are buying
Every product on this site is a digital guide in PDF format. Nothing is shipped to you, there is no physical item, and there is no subscription, no membership, no account, and nothing that renews or bills you again.
- Your download appears on the confirmation page the moment payment goes through, and a download link is also emailed to you.
- Access is unlimited. There is no cap on how many times you download the file.
- Once the file is on your device it is yours to keep permanently. Nothing to log into, nothing that expires.
- If you ever lose the file, write to me and I will send it again. There is no deadline on that, and you will never be asked to pay for it twice.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars on the order form, and that is the price you pay. Sales tax is added where the law requires it. Your order is completed and your payment is processed on the secure checkout page; Digistore24 acts as the reseller for these products and issues your receipt and invoice.
Your 60-day guarantee
Every purchase is covered by a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy for any reason, write to nora@steadypawsco.com within 60 days of your purchase and you will be refunded in full. There is no form to fill in and no explanation owed, and you keep the files.
How you may use the guides
The guides are for you and your household. Print as many copies as you like for your own use, and take them out on as many walks as you want.
Please do not resell them, republish them, upload them to file-sharing sites, or share the download link publicly. The text and illustrations remain the property of Steady Paws.
What these guides are — and what they are not
They are educational material about gentle, force-free training for everyday reactive dogs. They are not veterinary advice, and they are not a substitute for working with a certified trainer or behaviour professional.
If your dog has a bite history, or aggression that frightens you, please work with a certified behaviourist and your vet. That is the right room for it, and I say so in the guides themselves.
You know your dog and your street better than any book does. You remain responsible for your dog's safety and for the safety of the people and animals around you.
Emails
Buying a guide does not sign you up for anything. Our emails are a separate, optional list you join yourself, and every one of them carries an unsubscribe link. What we do with your address is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page as the business grows. The version published here at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to your purchase.
